Ripley Wolves win big in two weekend games

After a weekend off, the Ripley Wolves were rejuvenated and took home two wins last weekend.

On Dec. 18, the boys headed to Durham, coming home with a close 3-2 win,

Ripley was first on the scoreboard, when Nick Locking scored off Kurits Colling, but was soon answered by Durham. This ended all scoring in the first.

Durham was the only team to score in the second, but Darrin Gavey knocked one in first during the third, assisted by Kyle Gallant. Durham refused to give the lead up and scored to tie the game at two.

This put the game into a shootout and Kurtis Colling was hero of the game.

The boys headed to Lucknow on Saturday night and taking yet another win from Lucknow. Ripley won 5-1, however, no details were available at press time.
